It’s been a few days since I have returned from Berlin, but only now am I getting around to sorting through photos. On my last full day in Berlin I was in such emotional agitation after bringing Matt to the bus stop that on the way back I decided to pop by this music store and see if it could take me mind off things. Oh, and how it did - I played with the Roland GAIA and the Moog Little Phatty, along with a bunch of other synths and drum machines, and had a blast. It was so soothing having every keypress yield sound, and twisting knobs and pushing faders to bend it is so immensely satisfying. Even if you aren’t looking to synthesize a specific sound, the process of shaping the sound you are creating is so immensely therapeutic, even if it is entirely aimless.
